Controller and supervisory authority

Genspect, The Steps, O'Connell Street, Birr, County Offaly, Ireland, is the controller. Its lead supervisory authority is the Irish Data Protection Commission; you may also contact the authority in your own member state. Email [email protected].

The contact form

We receive your name, email address, optional country and message, and use them only to reply. They are stored on the hosting platform and in the Genspect mailbox and deleted within twelve months of the last exchange.

Server logs

Access logs including IP addresses are retained briefly for security and diagnostics, and are never used for profiling.

Embedded video

Episode pages embed the YouTube player. Playing a video transmits your IP address to Google, which may set cookies under its own policy. Every episode page also gives a plain link to youtube.com.

No tracking

This site runs no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels, and shares no personal data with third parties.

Legal basis and transfers

Processing rests on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Data remains in the European Economic Area except where Google processes video playback under its own safeguards.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one month, and you may complain to your supervisory authority at any time.
